External Supervisor

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Hiring and training Technical Support Agents and Shift Leads.
  • Ensuring Technical Support Agents and Shift Leads understand and comply with all call center objectives, performance standards, and policies.
  • Identifying operational issues and suggesting improvements in weekly meetings with management.
  • Preparing reports and analyzing data to assist management with monitoring call center goals.
  • Monitoring and evaluating agent performance, providing learning or coaching opportunities, and taking corrective action, if necessary.
  • Working with other supervisors, shift leads, and management team members to support agents and maximize customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of company products, policies, and services.
  • Must be able to work at least 20 hours a week, but full-time is preferred.
  • Leadership skills are required.
  • Attending weekly meetings.
  • University of Memphis Graduate Student

The supervisor position has a non-negotiable starting wage of $20/hour.
 

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
