Description

Role and Responsibilities

The Systems Analyst completes assigned tasks in the FedEx IT Command Center environment to meet the overall project objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and resolve technical issues that occur across client digital platforms
  • Onboard client applications
  • Communicate effectively with other team members

Key Accountabilities

  • Communicate effectively with customer application teams while thoroughly documenting conversations, exchanges, or sessions via email and/or Teams
  • Troubleshoot technical issues using available resources
  • Communicate technical issues and resolutions to clients, coworkers and leadership
  • Workflow queue monitoring and resolution; process improvement
  • Document results and implement solutions
  • Attend team meetings

Skills and Knowledge

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent technical skills and knowledge of computer systems
  • Experience with Linux Command Line/Bash and GitHub/GitLab
  • Experience with Java and Python

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Current student at the University of Memphis
  • Graduate student in STEM discipline preferred
