Description
Role and Responsibilities
The Systems Analyst completes assigned tasks in the FedEx IT Command Center environment to meet the overall project objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and resolve technical issues that occur across client digital platforms
- Onboard client applications
- Communicate effectively with other team members
Key Accountabilities
- Communicate effectively with customer application teams while thoroughly documenting conversations, exchanges, or sessions via email and/or Teams
- Troubleshoot technical issues using available resources
- Communicate technical issues and resolutions to clients, coworkers and leadership
- Workflow queue monitoring and resolution; process improvement
- Document results and implement solutions
- Attend team meetings
Skills and Knowledge
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent technical skills and knowledge of computer systems
- Experience with Linux Command Line/Bash and GitHub/GitLab
- Experience with Java and Python
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Current student at the University of Memphis
- Graduate student in STEM discipline preferred
